PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity of the linking portion of the suspension trailing arm to the lower portion of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: In this structure, a rocker rail inner panel 5 connected along the side face of a rear side member 4 on the outer side of the vehicle body has a greater vertical length as compared to the rear side member 4 and thereby forms a protruded portion 51 which protrudes below the rear side member 4. The protruded portion 51, a rocker rail inner panel 5, and a wheel house outer panel 7 form a closed section. The rear side member 4 is provided, at a position opposing the protruded portion 51, with a suspension bracket 2 which extends below the inner face of the rear side member 4 and equipped with a mounting seat 22 which opposes the protruded portion 51. The mounting seat 22 is integrally provided, at its front end, with a bulk head 26 which connects the mounting seat 22 with the protruded portion 51, and a suspension bush 10 on the front end of a trailing arm 1 is supported by a supporting shaft 14 which bridges the protruded portion 51 and the mounting seat 22.
