PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep an oxygen concentration higher than a fixed value even when the capacity of a fire extinguishing object domain is changed. SOLUTION: As inert gas fire extinguishing facilities, a nitrogen fire extinguishing facility is composed of a capacity determining part 41 provided in a controller 4 so as to determine the protection space capacity of a parking lot 2 to be changed corresponding to the parking quantities of automobiles 1 as portable objects, a separate discharging device 5 for discharging nitrogen separately for groups G1-G3, and a partition determining part 42 for selecting any one of G1-G3 corresponding to the protection space capacity of the parking lot 2 to be varied. The partition determining part 42 selects the group where it's nitrogen concentration in the air can be lower than a nitrogen concentration not to lack oxygen even when persons enter the parking lot at the time of nitrogen discharge. By utilizing a stock managing system for storage or parking lot, the safety of people during fire fighting can be secured in the simple and inexpensive configuration of capacity and partition determining parts based on a personal computer or the like and group discharging device based on a piping system.
