The dispenser is shaped like a disposable cigarette lighter, with a transparent clip on reservoir (20) and a discharge mechanism (10). The stick of gum (20) is forced upwards by a ratchet system (40) operated by a trigger (45). The user grips the protruding part of the cylinder between his teeth and cuts it off using the hinged blade (50). The blade also acts as a cover when the device is not in use.
