<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the gate helper with fixing device which allows easy opening and closing of side gate while restricting the deflection of the side gate due to the lateral load. SOLUTION: This gate holder operating mechanism functionally coupled to a hook 42 comprises: a handle 27 located on the side of a stopper 10 and a link device so as not to interfere with the link device and the stopper 10; an oscillating portion oscillated by means of the operation of the handle 27 and linking the operation of the handle 27 to the hook 42; and a coupling portion which extends from the side of the stopper 10 and the like along the width direction of the stopper 10 and links the operation of the handle 27 to the hook 42. The link device includes: a circularly moving arm 12 which extends below the stopper 10 in the stopper width direction, couples the stopper 10 and the vehicle body, and is movable circularly in the forward and backward directions while the stopper 10 is disengaged from the vehicle body; and a rod 15 pivotally fixed to the circularly moving arm 12 and coupled to a shaft 19 which is connected to a spring 24.</p> |
