<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adsorbing mercury vapor discharged from the crushed chips of a wasted fluorescent tube inside of container, while surely adsorbing and removing the mercury vapor which is left inside the container. SOLUTION: A scrapped fluorescent tube (P) is crushed by a crushing machine, and broken chips D thereof are housed in a scrapped fluorescent tube container 1. When the container 1 is filled full, the crushing machine is removed, and activated carbon powder, to which sulfurizing agent solution is injected or the oxidant is added, is sprayed onto the heaped broken chips D, and a mercury vapor adsorbing mat 5 filled with activated carbon to which the oxidant has been added is laid thereon, and the container 1 is sealed with a sealing cover.</p> |
