INSTALLATION DEVICE FOR PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working cost required for installation of a frame and smooth work for installation of a passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: An installation device which is erected on a floor surface 1a near the on/off getting part of a passenger conveyor includes a support 12 capable of tilting toward a frame, an expansion support holding part having both ends connected to the door surface 1a and the support 12, respectively, a lift 14 mounted on the upper part of the support 12 for lifting the frame and a supporting means 38 for supporting the support 12 tilting toward the floor surface 1a. When the support 12 tilts toward the floor surface 1a in mounting/demounting, the lift 14 and the support 12 are supported by the supporting means 38 in the condition that the lift 14 is set apart from the floor surface 1a. Damage to mounting portions between the lift 14 and the support 12 is thus prevented.
