PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for preventing fall which can easily give an anti- fall function to an existing manhole. SOLUTION: A hook flange 2 is provided on an upper part outside of a circular body 1 with such a size that can be inserted into a manhole lid receiving frame, while bearings 4, 4 including longitudinal holes 3, 3 on a lower part are provided on an internal face of a side. A grid lid 8 having, on a side, long holes with shafts 5, 5 provided on the bearings 4, 4 passing through and having locks protruding downward on the opposite side is provided on the bearings 4, 4 so that it can stand and fall. On an internal face of the circular body 1 opposite to the bearing 4, 4, receives 10, 10 equipped with through holes 9, 9 to be hooked with the locks are provided, while fixing bolts 11, 11 protruding outside from the inside of the circular body 1 are provided.
