PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably enable the assembly of a link and pin by being able to use an existing press without the need for special machinery for the operation of fixing a pin during assembly of a pin and a fixing structure of a belt link and pin that can enable simple and strong coupling of the link and pin while sufficiently ensuring holding force of the pin in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A running belt has a plurality of left and right pairs of links 6, 7 connected in a loop via pins 5. Of the fixed end face of the links 6, 7 into which a pin 5 has been press fit, the fixed end face of the pin or the link is continuously pressure-deformed in the axial direction from the fixed end face thereof along the surrounding portion of either the inner or outer opening of the pin press fitting hole by local pushing pressure in the axial direction thereof. The end portion of the same pin 5 or a part of the surrounding portion of the opening of the link is then expanded or contracted, and that expanded or contracted portion is retained and fixed in a retaining space of a corresponding part.
