PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throwaway tip provided with high dimensional accuracy such that a cutting condition is prevented from changing even in use in any side capable of performing use turning. SOLUTION: In this throwaway tip, a rake face 14 is formed in an upper surface of a tip main body 12 formed in rhombus flat plate shape to have a seating surface of a tool main body in a lower surface, and a peripheral surface of the tip main body 12 formed between the seating surface and the upper surface is formed as a flank 15. A cutting blade 17 with a corner part in the upper surface of the tip main body 12 serving as a nose part 16 is formed, and an insertion hole 22 of a clamp screw passing through a lower surface the central part upper surface of the tip main body to mount the main body 12 in the tool main body is formed, in a ridge line part between these rake face 14 and flank 15. A tapered surface 23 fitted to a tapered surface in a pressurizing part of an upper surfaced jig of the tip main body 12 is formed in an opening part peripheral edge in an upper surface side of the tip main body 12 of this insertion hole 22.
