PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable processing in a compact device by letting transmission radiation absorbed in a radiation image storing panel including a phosphor capable of inducing light, and causing to emit stored energy as light by means of induced light using an electroluminescent(EL) element. SOLUTION: For instance, the recording and reproducing of an image in computed radiography is performed by using an EL element for inducing a storage type phosphor panel. For instance, the EL element driven by a pixel method comprises a layer 104 containing electro-luminescent compound, row electrodes 102 and column electrodes 106 formed from electrode strips together and positioned mutually orthogonally. Each layer is separated from dielectric layers 103, 105, if prescribed voltage is applied on each electrode of the row and the column, light is emitted at a spot intersecting at each electrode, and a part corresponding to the phosphor panel is induced to emit light. A store/ stimulate device singly assembling the phosphor panel and the EL element is also used. |
