摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication mechanism capable of effectively recording lubricant scattering to the outside of a shaft, having a simple structure, and particularly, applicable to the shaft of a gear transmission. SOLUTION: A shaft 1 is provided with an oil passage 3 in the radial direction opened on an outer peripheral face and an oil passage 4 in the axial direction communicated with it. An oil catcher 6 is provided with an annular part fitted on an outer peripheral face of the shaft 1, a claw part 7 protruding outwardly from the annular part, and an opening part 8 formed just below the claw part 7 of the annular part so as to collide against the claw part 7 and receive the caught lubricant. The oil catcher 6 is mounted on the shaft 1 so as to allow the opening part 8 to communicate with the oil passage 3 in the radial direction opened on the outer peripheral face of the shaft 1. The lubricant scattering on outer periphery of the shaft 1 collides against an inner face of the claw part 7 in accordance with the rotation of the shaft 1 and drops toward the opening part 8, and a sufficient amount of lubricant is introduced into the oil passage 3 in the radial direction and furthermore into the oil passage 4 in the axial direction.
