PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for ensuring security even when an operator leaves a cash register. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a shield recognizing sensor 4 for recognizing the entrance/exit of a person in the neighborhood of a cash register K, mode lock 1 for recognizing the operating state, cash door 3 for maintaining cash, opening and closing detecting sensor 2 for recognizing the opening and closing state of the cash door 3, and buzzer 6. In this case, when this device is set in a monitor state by the mode key 1, and the intrusion of a person to the neighborhood of the case register K or the opened state of the cash door 3 is recognized by each sensor 4 and 2, an alarm sound is issued by a buzzer 6.
