PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seal member from falling down in the manufacture of roof tiles, and improve the outer appearance of the roof tiles by maintaining water resistance by attaching a seal member to be attached to left and right shiplap parts of a roof tile retractingly from its lower side. SOLUTION: The roof tile 1 is formed of cement mainly and lamination integrating two cured plate bodies by adhesion, and the right side shiplap part 12 is provided with a seal member 8 and drain channel 15, and then the roof tile 1 is roofed continuously left and right by overlapping the left side shiplap part 13. The seal member 8 is formed of a hot-melt seal, and is provided by rectracting its eaves side end part 8a to the ridge side from the eaves side end part 12a of the shiplap part 12. Thus, the seal member 8 is prevented from suspending without damaging its water resistance in its manufacture, and an outer appearance can be improved at the time of roofing the roof tile 1. Besides, the roof tile 1 can be improved in a drainage by the draining channel 15 and in a moisture resistivity by forming a vertically communicating ventilation passage through a cutout 22 made on the upper rear surface.
