PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an incense stick with a large mechanical strength and give a fireworks effect or a hot-spring effect to it. SOLUTION: This incense stick is fundamentally produced by homogeneously mixing methyl cellulose, basic copper carbonate, titanium dioxide, glass wool and water, pushing out the mixture linearly and drying it. When magnesium powder is added to raw materials, an incense stick of which the part burnt is sometimes brightly sparkled without sparking on burning is obtained and when fireworks powder is applied to the one side of the incense stick, an incense stick sometimes sparking is formed. Further, hot-spring components or the like are mixed.
