PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for producing the heat transfer plate of a heat transfer means and also to provide the heat transfer plate which enables optimum heat transfer and is mutually stably laminated and arranged and has an improved profile. SOLUTION: In the method for producing heat transfer plates 30, 31 equipped with clearances for a passage of fluid, the heat transfer plates are produced of a synthetic material, especially a foillike synthetic material by a deep drawing method and also the deep drawing method is executed by using compressed air. In the clearances of the heat transfer plates, flow path channels 32 are formed so that offset parts 33, 34 in the side direction exist at least in a part of an extension part in the axial direction thereof. The offset parts abut on the edge parts of the flow path channels of the plates arranged in the upper part or the lower part when the plates are mutually superposed.
