发明名称 SIMULATION METHOD IN DIE SINKING ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain an initial shape of a tool electrode adapted to the final work shape of a workpiece by performing inverse simulation from a workpiece shape before machining and an objective workpiece shape after machining. SOLUTION: Databases on the removing volume per single discharging between a tool electrode and a workpice in forward directional simulation are mutually exchanged. In the inverse directional simulation the workpiece were supposed to be the tool electrode and the workpiece is sent in the inverse direction of the forward direction by the same distance as the forward direction to repeat the wholly same routine as the forward directional simulation. In this case, since hatched consumed length distribution is generated, the shape of being deposited by such consumed part is an objective tool electrode shape obtained by the inverse directional simulation. However, since the databases are exchanged, the consumed length distribution must be wholly the same as the forward direction simulation. Thus, the tool electrode shape should return to a tool electrode shape before machining of the forward directional simulation as the result of the inverse directional simulation.
