PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for pouring molten metal, with which almost 100% of hole opening ratio can efficiently be obtd. without clogging the nozzle hole and the application is not limited, in the case of pouring the molten metal by opening a molten metal pouring hole after holding the molten metal in a molten metal vessel, such as tundish, for a specific time. SOLUTION: In the nozzle 1 for pouring the molten metal used in the case of pouring the molten metal by opening the molten metal pouring hole with a sliding plate 11 after holding the molten metal into the molten metal vessel for a specific time, a nozzle body 2 having the nozzle hole 3 for pouring the molten metal and also having a space part 4 formed at the outside of the nozzle hole and a heating part 5 having an exothermic body 6 inserted in the space part 4 and heating the nozzle body 2 by generating the heat in the exothermic body 6 by supplying the electric current thereto, are provided to shut off the heat transfer to the nozzle body 2 from the molten metal by heating the nozzle body 2 with the heating part 5.
