PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a spot welding state and its measuring device in which pressurizing force of an air cylinder and a temporal change of a welding current are measured, in the method for measuring the spot welding state and its measuring device. SOLUTION: When an operational state of a spot welding gun 1 is inspected, PI converters 23, 24 are respectively connected to a first pressure passage 13, a second pressure passage 14 as a means which detects pressurizing force and pressure reducing force which are guided into an air cylinder 5, a toroidal coil 31 is attached to a gun main body 6 as a means which detects a welding current which is supplied to respective welding electrodes 2, 3, and a pressurizing waveform and a pressure reducing waveform which are guided into the air cylinder 5 and the welding current which is supplied to the respective welding electrodes 2, 3 are simultaneously displayed with a memory high coder 30.
