PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device of a sheet metal parts to be carried without damaging a surface of the sheet metal parts. SOLUTION: A sheet metal parts carrying device carries an inner plate 1 and an outer plate 2 in a laminated condition to a hemming process in which the laminated inner plate 1 and outer plate 2 are joined by folding a flange part of the outer plate 2 and by holding in the flange part of the inner plate 1, and is provided with locking means 11, 21 to temporarily bend the flange part of the lapped outer plate 2, and clamp the flange part of the inner plate 1 at the temporarily bent part of the outer plate 2 to lock the outer plate 2 to the inner plate 1, and a holding means 31 which is connected to a carrying robot to hold an end part and a hole part of the inner plate 1.
