<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance calculation processing efficiency when conducting image conversion and to improve image quality, after the image conversion by generating an intermediate image by repeatedly performing the image conversion 1/2 fold of the number of pixels, until the number becomes approximately the number of pixels to be newly requested and performing the image conversion to calculate the image data to be expressed in the pixels of the number of pixels newly requested from the intermediate image. SOLUTION: An image input part 12 is for reading a frame image recorded in photographic film such as negative film and reversal film, and for example, the frame images of the photographic film with a 135 size, 110 size and photographic film on which a transparent magnetic film is formed, photographic film with 120 size and 220 size are defined as object to be read. Relating to the image input part 12 the frame image to be read is read by a line CCD 30, amplified by an amplifier AMP32, A/D converted by an A/D converter 34, and after that, the image data are outputted to an image conversion part 14.</p> |
