摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device capable of equalizing delivered flow rate obtained from respective terminal faucets of a multistory water supply piping system having an indefinite number of terminal faucets, so as to be a required flow rate based on the pressure detected by a normally installed pressure gauge without using a flow rate detector. SOLUTION: In multistory water supply piping system consisting of vertical piping 2 having a pump 1 downward and horizontal pipes 3 having an indefinite number of terminal faucets 8 branched into respective story floors from the vertical piping 2, flow control valves 4 with an adjusted opening so as to obtain an equal and required amount of water from all terminal faucets 8 are disposed at the bases of the respective horizontal pipes 3 branched into respective multistory floors. A pressure gauge 11 is installed near the delivery port of a pump 1 or at the position of the low pressure in a water supply piping system, and a delivery amount controller 9 adjusting the rotational speed of the pump 1 and/or the number of operating pumps based on a signal from the pressure gauge 11 is installed between the pump 1 and the pressure gauge 11.
