PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a mislanding quantity by correcting the mislanding quantity on the basis of the correlation between the mislanding quantity and the misconvergence quantity of a color cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: A misconvergence quantity measuring device 101 captures an image displayed on the image plane of a color cathode-ray tube and measures the misconvergence quantity of the color cathode-ray tube, on the basis of this image and outputs the misconvergence quantity as a signal 101s to a mislanding quantity correcting device 103. A mislanding quantity measuring device 102 computes the mislanding quantity of side beams with respect to a center beam from the mislanding quantity of each electron beam and outputs it as a signal 102s to the mislanding quantity correcting device 103. The mislanding quantity correcting device 103 corrects the inputted mislanding quantity of the side beams to the center beam, on the basis of the inputted misconvergence quantity.
