PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective-lens driving device which enhances the sensitivity of a tracking operation and which is favorable to make an optical head thin. SOLUTION: Cutouts are formed in parts in which respective outside yokes 9, 10, 11, 12 installed additionally at respective prescribed magnetic-pole faces of respective magnets 5, 6, 7, 8 are connected to respective inside yokes 14, 16 respectively counterposed to the magnetic-pole faces, on one side, of the respective magnets. End parts of tracking coils 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d are arranged in the cutouts. The length of sides which act effectively at the inside of the magnetic gaps of the tracking coils is expanded. Thereby, the sensitivity of a tracking operation can be enhanced without increasing the thickness of this objective-lens driving device.
