PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface finishing method for an earth block exhibit surface capable of reducing deterioration with age after surface treatment is applied and presenting natural exhibit surface without giving the sense of incongruity to a person who sees both of a section where the treatment is applied and a section where the treatment is not applied. SOLUTION: This surface finishing method has a filling and repair process in which resin mixture earth obtained by crushing the same earth as the earth constituting an earth block 20 and mixing it with resin liquid is filled in a clearance part M existing between the earth blocks 20 and a peeled and broken part D which exists on an earth block exhibit surface and contains a crack part as a joint material 83. It is composed of a surface layer part cutting process in which a surface layer part of the earth block exhibit surface after the filling and repair process is completed is cut and a surface protection layer formation process in which clear resin is sprayed on the earth block exhibit surface after the surface layer part cutting process is completed to form a surface protection layer.
