PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cereal-storing and drying apparatus equipped with cereal- storing and drying area, capable of discharging the grains of cereals such as dried unhulled rice from the discharge port continuously and smoothly. SOLUTION: This cereal-storing and drying apparatus is equipped with a cereal distributor at the upper part, a discharging port of treated cereals, and a ventilation floor, at the bottom, and an air passage connected to the space under the ventilation floor. The ventilation floor is formed by two or more perforated plates, and each of the perforated plates has holes formed by projecting a part thereof downward so as to form 1±0.1 mm clearance. The coefficient of the sliding friction on the surface is regulated so as to be <=0.2. The cereal- storing and drying apparatus has grains of the cereals dried so that the moisture content may be <=17 wt.% in a cereal-storing and drying room and has air flow regulated so as to be 35-50 m3/min per 1 m2 ventilation floor under 60-130 mm-H2O static pressure. The serial storing and drying apparatus can spouts the current of drying air in the amount of 20-28 m/s from the holes of the ventilation floor, and can horizontally move the unhulled rice on the ventilation floor having <=0.2 coefficient of the sliding friction of the surface to discharge the cereals dried in the cereal-storing room from the discharging port.
