AGENT SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent system which can send a message to a moving agent regardless of whether the agent is inside or outside a network. SOLUTION: An agent system 19' is installed on a firewall 13 provided at the connection point between an intranet 10 and a public line 12. This system 19' has a means which stores address information wherein the movement source address and movement destination address of the agent are related to each other, and transfers a message sent from the movement source to the agent system (agent) at the movement destination according to the stored address information. An agent system inside the firewall is capable of sending a message to the agent system on the firewall. Therefore, the message can be sent to an agent moving out of the intranet by using the above-mentioned transferring function.
