PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an energy transition pigment having a high quantum yield, a large extinction coefficient and a large stokes shift, excellent in measurement accuracy and useful for a diagnostic assay, etc., by making the pigment contain a linker containing a specific substituting group. SOLUTION: This energy transition pigment contains a donor pigment capable of absorbing a light having a primary wave length, responding thereto and releasing an excitation energy, an acceptor pigment capable of absorbing the excitation energy released from the donor pigment, responding thereto and generating a fluorescent light at a secondary wave length and a linker linking the donor pigment with the acceptor pigment so that the acceptor pigment absorbs all of the excitation energy released from the donor pigment. The linker contains a substituting group selected from a group consisting of an alkene, a diene, an alkyn, a 5-membered, a 6-membered or a condensed ring structure having >=1 unsaturated bonds. Further, the energy transition pigment preferably has a structure expressed by the formula (Y1, Y2 are each, O, OH or the like; R11 to R13 and R15 to R17 are each H, F, an alkene, etc.), etc. |
