摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk apparatus which can enhance an access speed by shortening the time required for lowering the relative speed of an objective lens to a track row to a speed at, which a servo can capture a track. SOLUTION: During a period in which the relative speed of an objective lens to a track row immediately after a servo is turned on again after the servo is turned off by a servo-ON/OFF changeover switch 5 in order to perform a track jump is higher than a set speed SEL, a forced drive signal which is used to lower the relative speed while the servo is set to an OFF state by a forced-drive-signal changeover switch 6 is introduced to a servo loop. After that, when the relative speed becomes lower than the set speed, the force-drive- signal changeover switch 6 is changed over again, and a tracking servo is turned on.
