PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type powder removing device for grain in which damaging the grain in removing bran from the surface of the grain can be restricted. SOLUTION: On a bottle placing part of a food processor main body with a built-in drive mechanism, an upside-opened bottle 14 having a rotation shaft 21 rotated by this mechanism is placed, and an side-opened sieve (separator) container 32 is contained in the bottle 14. In a container bottom wall 32b having a shaft inserting cylinder part in the container 32 to which the shaft 21 is inserted and a container circumferential wall 32a, a number of separating holes 38, 34e and 34f to prohibit pass of rice are provided. A stirring means 33 provided with blades 43 is installed on the shaft 21 to be rotated in the container 32 to stir rice in the container 32, so bran attached to the surface of rice passes the separating holes 38, 34e and 34f to be removed from the rice. The blades 43 are formed into an arc form to be retracted in the rotational direction E to gradually get closer to the circumferential wall 32a as it goes from a center part of the container 32 toward the circumferential wall 32a.
