PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce warming smell in eating, by providing a heating means, an inner pot temperature detecting means, a blowing means, and a control means, by controlling boiled-rices at a given temperature using the heating means based on the detected value of the inner pot temperature detecting means by control means, and by controlling blowing quantity of external air using the blowing means. SOLUTION: In a jar rice cooker, when a pot temperature detector 4 senses temperature of boiled-rices being warmed, the information is sent to a control portion 6, power is supplied to a heating coil 5 to generate a magnetic force so that the temperature of the boiled-rices is a thermal insulation setting temperature, an inner pot 1 is heated by electromagnetic induction to keep the boiled-rice warm. By controlling input of a thermal insulation heater 7 or a lid heater 10 with the control portion 6, heating calorie corresponding to the quantity of the boiled-rices is provided to keep temperature of the boiled-rices to be the thermal insulation setting temperature. A blowing device 12 is controlled by the control portion 6 to disperse warming smell in the inner pot 1 with intermittent blowing that blowing is repeated every constant period. Thus, even if a lid is tightly closed for a long time, the warming smell occurring during warming can be restrained.
