PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice washing/cooking device which can prevent dew condensation caused by the steam in boiling rice and can improve efficiency in the inspection work, etc. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rice washing device 4 equipped with a jacket with a water channel for drainage formed on the lower end part of rice washing tank and a rice boiling device. A rice cooking device with a lid is put on the bottom of a rice boiling base, and the rice cooking base is mounted on a machine frame which is movable in the front/rear direction toward the rice cooking position or to the boiler take-out side. The machine frame and a long machine frame in the vertical direction at the rear edge of the machine frame are integrally formed to constitute an L-shaped (in the side view) frame 2. The device has a lid sensing actuator to sense the lid when the rice cooking device is located at the rice cooking position and a switch to be turned on/off according to the operation of the actuator. The sensor of the lid sensing actuator is located on the jacket side (in the side view) of the rice washing/cooking device.
