PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform operation such as selection of various functions which are required for performing a call by providing a means to function as a volume adjusting means, when the call is made and as a function selecting means when no call is made. SOLUTION: When a telephone set main body is in a folded storage state, both the left and right ends of a joint part 3 is held between a thumb (a) and an index finger (b), when a push key 9 is operated through the depression with the thumb (a), a display part 2 and a receiver part are turned via the joint part 3 and a state is transited to a use state. In addition, the telephone set main body is basically grasped by a thumb ball (c) and remaining three fingers (d). Therefore, a dial 8 can be operated by the thumb (a) from the inside and the index finger (b) from the outside. The dial 8 is provided to the joint part 3 as one for selecting various functions in a non-radio call state, as one for adjusting reception volume at a radio call state, freely rotatably in the vertical direction and to be operated from both the inside and the outside. |
