PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently polish the surface while putting a processing object in a nonrotational state even just behind a peeling device and an extracting device by rotating a rotary member in the inverse direction of a polishing tool, and polishing the surface by contacting the circumferential surface of the polishing tool with the processing object by penetrating the processing object through the center of the rotary member. SOLUTION: This surface polishing device 1 is rotated by journalling respective flap wheels 2 by rotary motors, the rotary motors are supported by guides 5, the rotary motors are advanced/retreated in the inside/outside direction by guide rails 51, and the guides 5 are supported by a rotary drum 6. When penetrating through a workpiece W, a turning roller 73 is rotated by driving a driving motor 8 to rotate the rotary drum 6. A pair of flap wheels 2 arranged in the rotary drum 6 are rotated in the anticlockwise direction by the respective rotary motors. Clearance between the rotary motors 4 by adjusting bolts of the guides 5 to be set smaller by, for example, about 1 to 2 mm than an outside diametrical dimension of the workpiece W. |
