PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for reliably plating the entire surface or part of a resin molding without deteriorating various properties of a crystalline thermoplastic resin material. SOLUTION: In a resin molding comprising a crystalline thermoplastic resin material which is molded into a predetermined product form, the entire surface or the predetermined part of the surface is rouged to attain a surface roughness of Rz>=10μm (provided that Rz is a ten point average roughness). Subsequently, a water-soluble polymer resin composition mainly comprising a palladium salt, a complexing agent and a water-soluble polymer is applied onto the roughened surface of the resin molding. Then, the palladium ions in the water-soluble polymer resin composition are reduced to allow metal palladium to adhere to the surface of the resin molding. Finally, the resin molding with metal palladium attached is plated. |
