<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stackable cart which enables a plurality of loaded carts to be stacked on each other. SOLUTION: A platform 12 having a caster 14 has openings 16 at its four corners, respectively. A main shaft 18 is slidably inserted into each opening 16. An upper beam member 20 is integrally fixed to the upper end of the main shaft 18. The main shaft 18 is lifted up by a coiled spring 26 such that the lower end of the main shaft 18 is higher than the ground E on which the caster 14 is located. When another cart 10B is placed onto a loaded cart 10A, the lower end of the main shaft 18 of the underlying cart 10A is brought into contact with the ground, thereby braking the caster 14 of the underlying cart 10A.</p> |
