<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a flange to improve adhesion with a lid and to reliably apply hermetically sealing to a predetermined position of the flange by providing an annular rib for heat-fusing the lid on an innermost rim of the flange. SOLUTION: An annular rib 20 is provided on an innermost rim of a flange 16 of the molded container 10. Thus when food which has been cooked with heat is to be taken out of a microwave oven for example, the flange 16 can be prevented from deforming inwardly in the molded container 10 when the flange 16 of the container 10 is held for lifting. In addition, when contents are liquid or paste such as soup or sauce, the contents can be prevented from attaching to the flange 16 during transportation or the like of products. Further a flange width can be reduced, thus reducing the cost of a packaging material.</p> |
