PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from being shut up in a car even in the case of a main switch on the building side tripping by providing a power failure time switch in parallel with the main switch on the building side, and providing a control means capable of supplying power to an elevator by the power failure time switch in the case of the main switch on the building side acting. SOLUTION: In the case of a main switch 11 on the building side tripping due to its capacity being over after a user gets into a car to use an elevator and starts, when the main switch 11 acts, a power failure detecting circuit in a control panel acts, and an elevator main switch action detecting device for detecting the normal action of an elevator main switch in the control panel acts. A main power supply judging device also acts, and a main power supply device 9 is actuated by a signal of the main power supply judging device to supply power for the elevator through a power failure time switch 15 directly connected to a lead-in wire 16, thus making the elevator travelable. An accident shutting a user up in the car can therefore be prevented. |
