PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial resin composition capable of exhibiting excellent antimicrobial properties and continuing effect of antimicrobial properties without lowering transparency useful for partition of clean rooms, etc., tablecloth, etc., by mixing a synthetic resin with a specific mixture. SOLUTION: (A) A synthetic resin is mixed with (B) 0.005-1.0 wt.% of a mixture of (i) molybdenum trioxide and (ii) silver oxide in the weight ratio of the component i/the component ii of 95-30/5-70. Preferably a vinyl chloride- based resin is used as the component A. The component ii is supported on the component i in the component B and the average particle diameter of the mixture is preferably <=10μm. In order to form a sheet from the composition, for example, the component A is mixed with the component B and, if required, another compounding component by a super mixer, etc., and formed into a sheetlike shape by a calender roll, etc., in suitable thickness, e.g. 50-3,000μm. Consequently, the composition capable of actualizing the objective effect and an antimicrobial solvent sheet is provided.
