PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded type snow melting tank capable of facilitating the construction when a snow melting tank main body is installed, providing excellent stability after the installation, providing excellent reliability because accidents such as a crack and rupture of a pipe such as a drain pipe and disconnection of a power cord can be prevented, and providing excellent snow melting efficiency. SOLUTION: A snow melting tank main body 1 consists of a bottom part 2, a barrel part 3 rising from a peripheral fringe 2A of the bottom part 2, a top face part 4 provided continuously at an upper end of the barrel part 3, and a charging port frame part 5 which is formed by protruding from the top face part 4 and whose inner opening becomes a snow charging port 5A. An outer face 3A of the barrel part 3 is formed on an inclined face in such a way that its diameter is gradually expanded from the top face part 4 toward the bottom part 2 to receive pressure from above due to back filling soil earth D. A heat radiation pipe for melting snow, a water spraying circulation mechanism, and a drain mechanism are provided in the snow melting tank main body 1.
