PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that absorbs thermal expansion for mounting vehicle plastic parts to a vehicle body without involving an increased number of parts or an increased parts cost. SOLUTION: This structure for mounting vehicle plastic parts on a vehicle body is concerned with mounting an instrument panel (plastic part) 1 on a vehicle body panel 27 using a bolt 25. In this structure, a mounting recessed portion 30 is made in the instrument panel 1 and a bolt mounting seat 30a is provided in this recessed portion 30. A lightening hole 32 is made in areas around the bolt mounting seat 30a to allow the instrument panel 1 to move in an elongation direction W, as caused by thermal expansion.
