PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rattrap capable of carrying out assembling for use with a sense of a toy at a glance even by females, easily providing clearance work, allowing the use thereof several times and more easily catching rats and clean in appearance. SOLUTION: The characteristic of this water tank type rattrap comprises installing a seasaw 2 on a water tank bucket 2 filled with water and having a handle so that a rat climbing up with an ascending plate 3 falls head foremost in the water tank while eating a naturally scattered bait and making the rat naturally climb up, fall in the water tank and drowned to death.
