PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera having a communication function capable of appropriately corresponding with a photographing function and a communication function by switching to a photographing mode in accordance with the end of communication in a communication mode by a switch means. SOLUTION: A record start button 5 starts to record various pieces of information in accordance with mode setting by a mode switching button 9. A 'Yes' button 6 and a 'No' button 7 are operated by a user as desired in response to the inquiry from a camera. A dial button 8 is used to input a telephone number. The button 9 sets various modes such as, power off, a speech communication mode, a still picture photographing mode, a moving image photographing mode and a voice recording mode. And, in this case, a switch means switches to the photographing mode when communication in a communication mode is finished. Because photographing is possible just after the communication is finished in this way, the photographing chance is prevented from being missed.
