PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas generating agent composition capable of reducing the size and cost of a gas generator. SOLUTION: The gas generating agent composition contains a fuel for the gas generating agent selected from a polyvinyltetrazole derivative, a polyaminotriazole derivative or metallic salts of these and metallic complexes containing these and an oxidizing agent such as sodium nitrate, ammonium nitrate or strontium nitrate. The fuel is, e.g. poly-2-vinyl-5-aminotetrazole, poly-2- methyl-5-vinyltetrazole or polyethylene-4-amino-1,2,4-triazole. The fuel has binder ability imparts good moldability, and ensures the generation of a large quantity of gas. |
