摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new protein which is obtained by fusing a β2-adrenarin receptor protein intracellular C-terminal region and glutatione-S-transferase, and is useful as a synthetic substrate for determining the activity of β-adrenaline receptor kinase 1. SOLUTION: This new protein, which is obtained by fusing a β2-adrenarin receptor protein intracellular C-terminal region which consists of an amino acid sequence of amino acid number 347 and later in the amino acid sequence shown by the formula and glutatione-S-transferase, and is useful, as a synthetic substrate, for determining the activity of β-adrenaline receptor kinase 1, for screening an inhibitor against β-adrenaline receptor kinase 1, and other purposes, is obtained by cloning human β2-adrenarin receptor protein cDNA by the PCR using human heart whole RNA as a template and primers consisting of its partial sequences, followed by incorporating the obtained DNA into a vector together with glutatione-S-transferase gene for expression.
