PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-precision positioning even when a scene having large depth is composited by finding the coordinate values in a 1st image corresponding to the pixels in a triangular patch of a 2nd image by using a transformation expression calculated for the triangular patch and putting the 1st and 2nd images together by using the coordinate values in the 1st image corresponding to the pixels of the 2nd image. SOLUTION: Two images (1st and 2nd images) specified by a user are read in a memory (S1). Then overlap parts of the two images are extracted (S2). Partial images which are effective in tracking are extracted as feature points from the overlap part of the 1st image (S3). The positions of the extracted feature points of the 1st image on the 2nd image are tracked (S4). A plane projection transformation matrix by triangular patches is calculated (S5). According to the found plane projection transformation matrix, an image having both the images put one over the other is generated (S6) so that the positions of the two images match each other. |
