PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic driver of safety and high reliability without breaking electronic parts incorporated in an electron-applied precision device or the like. SOLUTION: This automatic driver is provided with a housing 1, a power source 2 supported by the housing 1, a drive shaft 3 to transmit rotation torque of the power source 2, and a bit mounting part 4 to be connected to the drive shaft 3. In this case, a first end part A is put to get in contact with a bit 66 mounted on the bit mounting part 4, a second end part B is fixed and supported on the side of the housing 1, and a continuity mechanism part 5 to let the first and the second end parts A, B electrically continued to each other is provided. Preferably, the second end part B, with the housing 1, is grounded to a common ground GND 1 with the drive source 2, or insulated and supported from the side of the housing 1, and a separate connection wire is extended from the second end part B to be grounded to a ground GND 2 such as the closest work table or the like. Static electricity is not stored in the bit 66, therefore, and electronic parts can be effectively protected from breakage by static electricity.
