PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively exchange a function which is realized by an aircraft monitor radar at present. SOLUTION: A GPS receiver 2 is loaded on an aircraft, and the position information of the own aircraft is obtained by this. The obtained position information is superimposed on the surplus area of the response signal of a transponder, and transmitted to ground. In a ground device, the position information is read from the response signal, and made correspond to coordinates on the raster scanning display screen of a display, and displayed with the aircraft information such as altitude information, traveling direction, and bar code at the pertinent position of the aircraft.
