PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring apparatus capable of efficiently treating a treated material of garbage or droppings. SOLUTION: A stirring apparatus has a circular accumulation tank in which a treated material is charge and a sirrer 15 revolved along the circumferential direction in the accumulation tank and stirring the treated material by scooping up or digging down the same, and the stirrer 15 is arranged so as to be inclined at a predetermined angle on the side opposite to the revolving direction in the accumulation tank.
