PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To redisplay data in a short time when a data inquiry request is made while a transaction processing is in progress. SOLUTION: The transaction data redisplay system is equipped with an main file (data file) 14 which stores transaction data and a subfile (paging management file) 16 which stores screen images obtained by editing and processing transaction data read out of the main file for screen output at a data call request from a terminal machine operator, and calls a requested transaction data inquiry screen from the subfile if the requested transaction data are already stored in the subfile when a data redisplay request is made.
