PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly place a packing along a top to reduce errors in capping. SOLUTION: This two-piece cap 1 comprises a cap body 2 comprising a cylindrical side and a flat-plate-like top 5 for closing an end of the side, having a female thread 8 to be screwed with a male thread 7 of a bottle mouth 6 on an internal face of the side and including a tamper-evident band 9 in the vicinity of an open end of the side, and a packing 3 which is arranged to be in contact with the inside face of the top part 5 and can be in close contact with a rim of the bottle mouth 6 when capping. A valve seat 10 coming in parallel to the top 5 and having a protruding width wherein a diameter of a circle formed at its tip is smaller than that of the packing 3 is made to protrude on an inner peripheral face of the side 4, while a protruding width of the female thread 8 is specified so that a diameter of a spiral circle formed at its tip is larger than that of the packing 3. |
